ذكرت يومية الأخبار في عددها الصادر اليوم بأن مجلس المنافسة دخل على خط الجدل المثار حول أسعار الأسماك الموجهة إلى الاستهلاك المحلي، حيث كشفت مصادر أن المجلس قرر فتح تحقيق في مدى احترام قواعد المنافسة في سوق توريد سمك السردين وذلك بعد ورود معطيات تفيد بوجود اتفاق بين عدد من الفاعلين الاقتصاديين على تحديد الأسعار، مما قد يحد من المنافسة الحرة ويضر بالمستهلكين.
وهو ما أكده أحمد رحو، رئيس مجلس المنافسة، في ندوة صحفية للمجلس الأسبوع الماضي موضحا أن مجلس المنافسة يجري تحرياته بخصوص ملف تنازعي توصل به يهم سوق الأسماك، مشددا على أن خفض الأسعار ليس من اختصاصات هذه المؤسسة الدستورية.
غير أن المجلس يراقب السوق لضمان احترام قواعد المنافسة العادلة، والتصدي لأي ممارسات احتكارية أو ممارسات تضر بتوازن السوق وحقوق المستهلك.
