قررت دولة الإمارات فتح قنصلية عامة بالأقاليم الجنوبية للمملكة؛ وفق ما أخبر به صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، ولي عهد أبوظبي، ونائب القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ، الملك محمد السادس في مكالمة هاتفية جمعت بينهما، اليوم الثلاثاء.
ووفق بلاغ للديوان الملكي فقد عبر جلالة الملك، عن شكره الجزيل وتقديره الكبير لسمو ولي عهد الإمارات العربية المتحدة، على هذا القرار التاريخي الهام الداعم للوحدة الترابية للمملكة على هذا الجزء من ترابه، خاصة وأن الإمارات شاركت في المسيرة الخضراء المظفرة.
كما أعرب جلالته عن اعتزازه العميق بقرار الإمارات، كأول دولة عربية، تفتح قنصلية عامة بالأقاليم الجنوبية للمملكة؛ وهو قرار يجسد موقفها الثابت في الدفاع عن حقوق المغرب المشروعة وقضاياه العادلة، ووقوفها الدائم إلى جانبه في مختلف المحافل الجهوية والدولية.
يشار إلى أن الإتصال الهاتفي يندرج في سياق التنسيق والتشاور الدائمين بين قيادتي البلدين، وما يجمعها من عمق أواصر الأخوة الصادقة والمحبة المتبادلة؛ وكذا في إطار علاقات التعاون المثمر والتضامن الفعال التي تجمع المملكة المغربية بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الشقيقة.
