يجري عبد اللطيف حموشي المدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني زيارة عمل للمملكة العربية السعودية، بدعوة كريمة من رئيس جهاز أمن الدولة السعودي الفريق أول عبد العزيز بن محمد الهويريني.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة على هامش تنظيم المملكة العربية السعودية لفعاليات المؤتمر العالمي للدفاع، خلال الفترة الممتدة من 4 إلى 8 فبراير الجاري، والذي يشكل مناسبة لاستعراض أحدث التطورات الحاصلة على الصعيد الدولي في صناعات الدفاع والأمن وتقنيات الأقمار الاصطناعية.
وقد قام عبد اللطيف حموشي بزيارة ميدانية لمختلف أروقة المعرض الدولي للصناعات الدفاعية والأمنية، واطلع على سائر الحلول التكنولوجية المبتكرة في مجال الأمن والدفاع، والتي تستهدف تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار العالميين.
كما أجرى المدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني، على هامش هذه الزيارة، عدة لقاءات ثنائية مع كبار المسؤولين في الأجهزة الأمنية السعودية، تباحث فيها مستوى التعاون بين المملكة المغربية والمملكة العربية السعودية في المجال الأمني، وكذا آليات تطوير هذا التعاون وتقويته بما يتلاءم والعلاقات المتميزة والأخوية بين البلدين.
يذكر أن هذه الزيارة تأتي في سياق زمني تعرف فيه العلاقات الأمنية بين المملكة المغربية والمملكة العربية السعودية تعاونا وثيقا، بعدما أبرم المدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني ونائب رئيس جهاز أمن الدولة السعودي، خلال سنة 2023 بالرباط، اتفاقية تعاون في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب وتمويله، وهي الاتفاقية التي عززت آليات التعاون والتنسيق الأمني بين البلدين في مختلف المجالات المرتبطة بمكافحة الإرهاب وعمليات تمويله.
