اعتبر الخبير في الموارد المائية، محمد البازة، أن المغرب دخل مرحلة “إجهاد مائي حاد” بعد التراجع الكبير الذي شهدته التساقطات المطرية، مما كان له تأثير في مخزون المياه على مستوى السدود.
وأوضح البازة، في حوار صحفي ووفقا للمعطيات الحالية فقد “دخل المغرب في حالة الإجهاد المائي المطلق بمتوسط أقل من 500 متر مكعب لكل فرد سنويا، وهو أدنى مستوى لمؤشر الإجهاد المائي”، مشيرا إلى أن الدراسات تتوقع أن موارد المياه المتاحة ستنخفض بنسبة 80 بالمائة في غضون 25 عاما.
