أقدمت القيادة العليا للدرك الملكي على تعيين الجنرال عبد المجيد الملكوني في منصب رئيس الأمن العمومي بالقيادة العليا للدرك الملكي بالرباط، في إطار حركية جديدة تروم تعزيز المسؤوليات القيادية داخل الجهاز.
ويأتي هذا التعيين عقب المسار المهني الذي راكمه الجنرال عبد المجيد الملكوني، لاسيما خلال فترة توليه مسؤولية القيادة الجهوية للدرك الملكي بجهة طنجة تطوان الحسيمة، حيث راكم تجربة ميدانية وإدارية في تدبير مختلف الملفات الأمنية.
وحسب مصادر مطلعة، فإن هذا التعيين يندرج ضمن توجه القيادة العليا للدرك الملكي نحو ضخ دماء جديدة في مواقع المسؤولية، والاستفادة من الكفاءات التي راكمت خبرة ميدانية وإدارية داخل الجهاز.
