أعلن الاتحاد الإيفواري لكرة القدم رسميا، اليوم الثلاثاء بأبيدجان، عن تعيين المدرب الفرنسي هيرفي رونار مدربا جديدا لـ “الأفيال”، المنتخب الوطني الأول لكوت ديفوار، خلفا لإيميرس فاي.
وأوضح الاتحاد، في بلاغ، أن هذا التعيين يعكس “إرادته في تكريس المكتسبات التي حققها المنتخب الوطني الأول خلال السنوات الأخيرة، مع مواصلة الطموحات الملقاة على عاتق كرة القدم الإيفوارية على الساحتين الإفريقية والدولية”.
وفي السياق ذاته، سلط الاتحاد الإيفواري الضوء على “التجربة العالية لرونار في مجال كرة القدم، ومعرفته بكرة القدم الإفريقية وتعلقه بكرة القدم الإيفوارية”، معتبرا أن هيرفي رونار سيضطلع بمسؤولية مواصلة دينامية أداء المنتخب الوطني، بتعاون وثيق مع الهيئات المسي رة والهياكل التقنية للاتحاد الإيفواري لكرة القدم.
وأضاف الاتحاد أن المدرب الجديد، الذي يرتقب وصوله إلى أبيدجان خلال الأيام المقبلة لتولي مهامه رسميا، سيتم تقديمه لوسائل الإعلام وللجمهور الرياضي خلال ندوة صحفية سيتم تنظيمها بهذه المناسبة.
وبذلك، سيعود هيرفي رونار، المتوج من قبل بلقب بطل إفريقيا مع “الأفيال” الإيفوارية خلال كأس الأمم الإفريقية 2015، مجددا للإشراف على المنتخب الإيفواري. وستتمثل مهمته في إعداد الفريق وقيادته خلال المنافسات الدولية المقبلة.
وكان الاتحاد الإيفواري لكرة القدم قد أعلن، بتاريخ 31 يوليوز المنصرم، انفصاله عن المدرب الإيفواري إيميرس فاي، بعد أن قرر عدم تجديد عقده الذي انتهت مدته.
