أجرى رئيس مجلس النواب، راشيد الطالبي العلمي، يوم الإثنين 20 أكتوبر 2025 بمقر المجلس في الرباط، مباحثات مع وزير العدل بالجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية محمد ولد اسويدات والوفد المرافق له، حيث يقوم بزيارة عمل للمملكة المغربية ما بين 20 و22 من الشهر الجاري.
خلال لقائهما، الذي حضره أحمد ولد باهية سفير موريتانيا، شدد الجانبان على متانة الروابط التاريخية والروحية بين البلدين وجودة العلاقات التي تجمعهما. وبالمناسبة تم استعراض الأوراش الكبرى التي انخرطت فيها المملكة المغربية والمبادرات التنموية اتجاه القارة الأفريقية، تحت القيادة الرشيدة لصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس نصره الله.
وكان الاجتماع فرصة، للتأكيد على جودة وتميز العلاقات البرلمانية بين البلدين والتي توجت بعقد الدورة الأولى للمنتدى البرلماني الاقتصادي المغربي-الموريتاني بنواكشوط، الذي سيشكل، من جهة، قاطرة أساسية لتشجيع الاستثمار وتقوية التكامل الاقتصادي بين البلدين. ومن جهة أخرى، رافدا أساسيا للحوار وللتشاور البرلماني ولتعزيز التواصل على المستوى الثنائي ومتعدد الأطراف، ولبنة أساسية لتبادل التجارب والخبرات البرلمانية.
