جدد الاتحاد العام للصحفيين العرب، الأحد بالعيون، التأكيد على مواقفه الثابتة، الداعمة للوحدة الترابية للمملكة المغربية.
وجاء في “بيان العيون” الذي أصدره الاتحاد في ختام الاجتماع الدوري لأمانته العامة، “يحرص الاتحاد العام للصحافيين العرب و هو يعقد اجتماع أمانته العامة بمدينة العيون المغربية على تجديد مواقفه الثابتة فيما يتعلق بالنزاع المفتعل حول الصحراء المغربية، ويؤكد حق الشعب المغربي المطلق في وحدته الترابية”.
واعتبر “بيان العيون” أن مشروع الحكم الذاتي الذي قدمه المغرب يبقى الإطار الوحيد لضمان تسوية عادلة ونهائية لهذا النزاع المفتعل، منوها بجهود التنمية التي عرفتها الأقاليم الجنوبية للمملكة.
ومن جهة أخرى، شدد الاتحاد على مواقفه الثابتة تجاه قضايا الأمة العربية العادلة، وفي مقدمتها القضية الفلسطينية.
ودعا، على صعيد آخر، إلى تطوير قوانين الصحافة والنشر في البلدان العربية وتطوير الكفاءات من خلال التكوين المستمر و تملك مهارات مواجهة التحديات التي تطرحها التحولات التكنولوجية الهائلة الحاصلة في قطاع الصحافة والإعلام.
