شهدت أسعار الذهب انخفاضا طفيفا، اليوم الجمعة، متأثرة ببيانات اقتصادية أمريكية جاءت أقوى من المتوقع، عززت الدولار وقلصت التوقعات بخفض أسعار الفائدة من قبل مجلس الاحتياطي الفدرالي، فيما يترقب المستثمرون بيانات التضخم المقرر صدورها في وقت لاحق من اليوم.
وهكذا، هبط الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة 0.2 في المائة إلى 3741.71 دولار للأوقية، مع مكاسب أسبوعية بلغت نسبة 1.7 في المائة. كما استقرت العقود الأمريكية (تسليم دجنبر) عند 3772.20 دولار.
أما مؤشر الدولار، فارتفع إلى أعلى مستوى له في ثلاثة أسابيع، مما رفع تكلفة الذهب بالنسبة للمشترين من الخارج.
وأظهرت بيانات أمريكية انخفاض طلبات إعانات البطالة، الأسبوع الماضي، مع نمو الاقتصاد بوتيرة أسرع من المتوقع في الربع الثاني بدعم من الإنفاق الاستهلاكي والاستثمار التجاري.
وبالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، انخفضت الفضة بنسبة 0.7 في المائة إلى 44.92 دولار للأوقية، بينما ارتفع البلاتين ب 0.6 في المائة إلى 1538.15 دولار، والبلاديوم ب 0.5 في المائة إلى 1255.72 دولار، مع توقعات بتسجيل الثلاثة مكاسب أسبوعية.
