أكد رئيس جماعة مكناس عباس المغاري، اليوم الإثنين، بأن معركة ماء واد بوفكران تعد حدثا تاريخيا بارزا يجسد لمواقف المكناسيين البطولية في مواجهة الاستعمار الغاشم.
وقال المغاري خلال المهرجان الخطابي المنظم بملحقة عمالة مكناس بحي أكدال، تخليدا للذكرى ال88 لمعركة ماء وادي بوفكران، بأن التاريخ سيتذكر ما قدمه المكناسيون من تضحيات جسام.
واعتبر رئيس جماعة مكناس، بأن الاحتفال بهذه الذكرى يأتي انسجاما مع التوجيهات الملكية الرامية إلى إلى الاهتمام بالموروث التاريخي و تذكيرا بأمجاد وتاريخ المملكة.
تبقى الإشارة إلى أن ملحقة عمالة مكناس بحي أكدال احتضنت مهرجانا خطابيا ولقاء تكريميا وندوة فكرية موسومة ب”أحداث بوفكران وثائق وذاكرة وامتدادات”،وذلك بمشاركة أساتذة جامعيين وباحثين.
