استمرارا لاحتفالات إفتتاح موسم مولاي إدريس الأكبر، حل ممثل الحجابة الملكية والوفد المرافق له، بمقر عمالة مكناس، ليتوجه الجميع إلى ضريح مولاي إدريس، حيث جرى الترحم على الولي الصالح مولاي إدريس الأكبر مع ختم القرآن الكريم والدعاء لمولانا أمير المؤمنين حفظه الله وأيده. وثم بعد ذلك قراءة اللطيف ووضع هبة ملكية بخزينة الضريح .
وبالمنصة الشرفية لساحة مولاي إدريس ، جرت مراسيم مرور طائفات الفقراء العلميين والمادحين و مرور الجماعات الجازولية لأهل دلائل الخيرات.
يشار إلى أن موسم مولاي إدريس الأكبر هو تظاهرة دينية سنوية تقام احتفاءً بذكرى الولي الصالح مولاي إدريس الأول، مؤسس أول دولة إسلامية في المغرب.
و يشهد الموسم فعاليات متنوعة تشمل مواسم فرعية لقبائل مختلفة، وأمسيات دينية، وندوات ثقافية، ومسابقات في تجويد القرآن.
