توعد محمد سعد برادة، وزير التربية الوطنية والتعليم الأولى والرياضة، مثيري الشغب الرياضي بعقوبات صارمة مؤكدا أن المصالح المختصة تبذل مجهودات جبارة لمحاصرة هذه الظاهرة، باتخاذ إجراءات احترازية لمكافحة الشغب، منها ما تم الشروع في تطبيقه، ومنها ما هو في طور التفعيل.
وحسب المعطيات التي قدمها الوزير، في هذا الشأن تشمل هذه الإجراءات السهر على تطبيق مقتضيات القانون رقم 09.09 بالحزم والصرامة وإغناء القانون 09.09 بمقتضيات تمنع القاصرين غير المرافقين من ولوج الملاعب الرياضية، وتحديد مسؤولية أولياء الأمور تجاه تصرفاتهم.
كما تتضمن هذه التدابير منع التنقل الجماعي للجماهير خارج العمالات والأقاليم إذا تبين أن هذا التنقل من شأنه أن يهدد الأمن العام.
