ستقبلت وزارة الحج والعمرة السعودية 955 حاجا قادمين من جمهوريتي إندونيسيا وبنغلاديش، ضمن أولى وفود الحجاج القادمين من خارج المملكة بعد انقطاع دام عامين بسبب ظروف جائحة فيروس كورونا.
وقال نائب وزير الحج والعمرة عبدالفتاح بن سليمان أن الحكومة عملت منذ عدة شهور على حشد جميع الجهود والطاقات البشرية والمادية لتقديم أفضل الخدمات لحجاج بيت الله الحرام، مؤكد ا جاهزية الوزارة بالتكامل مع جميع الأجهزة الحكومية لإنهاء جميع إجراءات الحجاج بسهولة ويسر بدءا من إصدار التأشيرات والتأكد من الخصائص الحيوية والحالة الصحية، وترتيب عمليات النقل والإعاشة والتسكين بالشراكة مع جميع الجهات العاملة في الحج حتى مغادرتهم سالمين بعد تأدية المناسك.
وكان وزير الحج والعمرة السعودي، توفيق الربيعة قد أكد، الخميس الماضي، أن بطاقة الحج الذكية سيجري تطبيقها هذا العام، مشيرا إلى أن التقنيات الرقمية ستساعد في تنظيم حج هذا العام بشكل مثالي. وأضاف الوزير أن موسم حج هذا العام سيستوعب مليون حاج، مع العمل على ضمان صحة الحجاج.
