تم، اليوم أمس السبت، انتخاب راشيد الطالبي العلمي، من حزب التجمع الوطني للأحرار، رئيسا جديدا لمجلس النواب.
وجرت عملية انتخاب رئيس مجلس النواب تطبيقا لأحكام الفقرة الثالثة من الفصل 62 من الدستور، وبناء على مقتضيات النظام الداخلي لمجلس النواب.
وجاء انتخاب الطالبي العلمي بعد حصوله على 258 صوتا من مجموع 279 صوتا معبر عنها، فيما حصل السيد رؤوف العبدلاوي معن، المرشح عن حزب جبهة القوى الديمقراطية، عن أربعة أصوات.
وبلغ عدد الأوراق الملغاة 34 ورقة، بينما امتنع النواب المنتمون لحزب الاتحاد الاشتراكي للقوات الشعبية عن التصويت.
وتستند عملية انتخاب الرئيس الجديد لمجلس النواب إلى مقتضيات قانونية وإجرائية مؤطرة بموجب الدستور ومنصوص عليها في النظام الداخلي للمجلس.
وينص الدستور المغربي، الذي أقر في سنة 2011 ، في الفصل 62 منه على أن رئيس مجلس النواب وأعضاء المكتب، ورؤساء اللجان الدائمة ومكاتبها، ينتخبون في مستهل الفترة النيابية، ثم في سنتها الثالثة عند دورة أبريل لما تبقى من الفترة المذكورة.
