صادق مجلس الحكومة، اليوم الخميس، على مشروع المرسوم رقم 2.26.530 في شأن الساعة القانونية، قدمه الوزير المنتدب لدى رئيس الحكومة، المكلف بالعلاقات مع البرلمان، الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة، نيابة عن الوزيرة المنتدبة لدى رئيس الحكومة المكلفة بالانتقال الرقمي وإصلاح الإدارة.
وأوضح بايتاس، خلال لقاء صحفي عقب الاجتماع الأسبوعي للمجلس،أن مشروع هذا المرسوم يهدف إلى الرجوع إلى الساعة القانونية المحددة في تراب المملكة في التوقيت الزمني المتوسط لخط غرينيتش، بموجب المرسوم الملكي رقم 455.67 الصادر في 23 من صفر 1378 (2 يونيو 1967) بشأن الساعة القانونية، وذلك من خلال تأخير الساعة بستين (60) دقيقة، عند حلول الساعة الثانية صباحا من يوم الأحد 20 سبتمبر 2026.
وأضاف أنه تبعا لذلك، ينص مشروع هذا المرسوم على نسخ المرسوم رقم 2.18.855 الصادر في 16 من صفر 1440 (26 أكتوبر 2018) المتعلق بالساعة القانونية، الذي سبق أن تم بموجبه إضافة ستين (60) دقيقة للساعة القانونية السالفة الذكر.
