جدد المجلس الأعلى لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، خلال اختتام دورته السادسة والأربعين المنعقدة في المنامة، تأكيده الثابت على مغربية الصحراء ودعمه القوي لمبادرة الحكم الذاتي التي اقترحها المغرب كحل نهائي وواقعي لهذا النزاع الإقليمي.
ورحب المجلس في بيانه الختامي بقرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2797 الصادر بتاريخ 31 أكتوبر 2025، معتبراً أن هذا القرار يشكل خطوة متقدمة نحو تعزيز الواقعية وقابلية التطبيق لمقترح الحكم الذاتي، ويؤكد الجهود الدولية المبذولة لدعم المبادرة المغربية.
كما أشاد قادة المجلس بمبادرة صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس نصره الله، القاضية باعتماد تاريخ صدور القرار يوماً وطنياً جديداً تحت اسم “عيد الوحدة”، لما يحمله من رمزية قوية تُجسد الانتصار الدبلوماسي الكبير الذي حققته المملكة.
وأكد البيان أن هذا الموقف يعكس الانسجام التام بين دول الخليج والمملكة المغربية، ويترجم الدعم الخليجي الثابت للوحدة الترابية للمملكة تحت القيادة الرشيدة لجلالة الملك محمد السادس.
ويأتي هذا التأكيد في سياق مواقف خليجية متواصلة مؤيدة لوحدة المغرب الترابية، تجسدها افتتاح العديد من الدول الخليجية لقنصليات في مدينتي العيون والداخلة دعماً للموقف المغربي الشامل.
