تراجعت أسعار الذهب، اليوم الثلاثاء، بعد أن لامس الدولار أعلى مستوى له منذ أكثر من أسبوعين، بينما يعمل المستثمرون على تقييم موقف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب الأكثر حذرا بشأن فرض رسوم جمركية على الشركاء التجاريين.
وانخفض سعر الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.6 في المائة إلى 3006.84 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة).
وتراجعت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب 0.2 في المائة إلى 3015.60 دولار للأوقية عند التسوية.
وسجل الذهب 16 ذروة قياسية هذا العام، وبلغ أعلى مستوياته على الإطلاق عند 3057.21 دولار للأوقية الأسبوع الماضي.
وارتفع الدولار 0.2 في المائة ليسجل أعلى مستوى منذ أكثر من أسبوعين، ليجعل الذهب المقوم بالدولار أعلى تكلفة بالنسبة للمشترين خارج الولايات المتحدة.
وبالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، هبطت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية 0.3 في المائة إلى 32.94 دولار للأوقية، وتراجع البلاتين 0.5 في المائة إلى 969.77 دولار، وانخفض البلاديوم 0.7 في المائة إلى 951.10 دولارات.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب قد ألمح، يوم الجمعة الماضي، إلى أنه ستكون هناك بعض المرونة فيما يتعلق بالرسوم الجمركية المضادة التي من المقرر أن تدخل حيز التنفيذ في ثاني أبريل المقبل، ويتوقع أن تؤدي إلى ارتفاع التضخم وعرقلة النمو الاقتصادي.
