أفادت وزارة الصحة والحماية الاجتماعية بأن وضع مرض السكري في المغرب يثير “قلقا كبيرا”، مع تسجيل زيادة مستمرة في الحالات الجديدة وانتشار داء السكري.
وأوضحت الوزارة، في بلاغ لها، أن الإحصائيات تشير إلى أن “هذا الداء يصيب أزيد من 25 ألف طفل، ويفوق عدد البالغين المصابين به 2.7 مليون، مع العلم أن نصف هؤلاء كانوا يجهلون إصابتهم بداء السكري أثناء الكشف خلال القيام بالمسح الوطني، بينما يوجد أكثر من 2,2 مليون شخص في مرحلة ما قبل الإصابة بالسكري”.
وتتكفل الوزارة بأزيد من (مليون ونصف) 1.500.000 مريض بداء السكري على مستوى مؤسسات الرعاية الصحية الأولية، حيث يتلقون تكفلا صحيا يتماشى مع مسار علاج موحد ومحدد.
