قالت الشرطة الكينية إن مشتبها فيه، اعتقل اليوم الاثنين في نيروبي في إطار التحقيق في العثور على جثث مشوهة في مكب نفايات بالعاصمة نيروبي، اعترف بضلوعه في قتل 42 امرأة.
وأعلن رئيس مديرية المباحث الجنائية، أمين محمد، أن المتهم البالغ من العمر 33 عاما “اعترف باستدراج وقتل 42 امرأة قبل أن يعمد إلى التخلص من جثثهن في مكب للنفايات”.
وقال المسؤول الأمني، في مؤتمر صحفي، “نحن نتعامل مع قاتل متسلسل مختل عقليا لا يحترم حياة الإنسان”.
وكانت الشرطة الكينية قد فتحت نهاية الأسبوع الماضي تحقيقا بعد العثور على عدة جثث مشوهة وملفوفة في أكياس بلاستيكية وملقاة في مكب نفايات في حي موكورو الفقير بنيروبي.
ومكنت عمليات البحث من العثور على ثماني جثث على الأقل لنساء تتراوح أعمارهن بين 18 و30 عاما، حيث كشفت التحقيقات الأولية أن الضحايا قتلن بنفس الطريقة.
