أكدت وزارة السياحة والصناعة التقليدية والاقتصاد الاجتماعي والتضامني، اليوم الثلاثاء، أن أزيد من 960 ألف سائح توافدوا على المغرب خلال شهر شتنبر الماضي وهو عدد قياسي يسجل رغم أن الزلزال ضرب عدة مناطق بالمغرب في الثامن من الشهر نفسه.
وأشارت الوزارة في بلاغ ، إلى أن عدد السياح الوافدين على المغرب في شهر شتنبر 2023 سجل ارتفاعا بنسبة 7% مقارنة بالشهر نفسه من السنة الماضية رغم مخلفات الزلزال مضيفة أن وجهة المغرب السياحية خلقت المفاجأة خلال هذا الشهر حيث تجاوز عدد السياح الوافدين الأرقام المسجلة في الفترة نفسها من 2019 أيضا .
وأورد المصدر ذاته أنه “إلى حدود اليوم استقبل المغرب حوالي 11.1 مليون سائح في 2023، متجاوزا بذلك إجمالي عدد السياح الوافدين خلال سنة 2022 بأكملها”.
ونقل البلاغ عن فاطمة الزهراء عمور، وزيرة السياحة والصناعة التقليدية والاقتصاد الاجتماعي والتضامني، قولها إن “الاجتماعات السنوية للبنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي بمراكش هي أفضل مناسبة للإعلان عن الإنجاز القياسي للسياحة المغربية خلال شهر شتنبر 2023. إنه إنجاز مهم لأنه يسلط الضوء على جاذبية وجهتنا السياحية، وصمود قطاعنا، ونجاعة التدابير المتخذة من طرف بلادنا لمواجهة مخلفات الزلزال، تحت القيادة الرشيدة لصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس نصره الله”.
وأضافت أنه “على الرغم من هذا الزلزال المأساوي فإن انتعاش السياحة المغربية قد تواصل، ونحن عازمون على بلوغ هدف استقبال 14 مليون سائح بنهاية 2023”.
