عبر مجلس الجامعة العربية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية، اليوم الاربعاء بالقاهرة، عن دعمه لترشيح المملكة المغربية لرئاسة الدورة 18 لمجلس حقوق الإنسان لسنة 2024.
كما وافق المجلس، الذي ترأسه وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الافريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج ناصر بوريطة، على التوصيات الصادرة عن الدورة 52 للجنة العربية الدائمة لحقوق الإنسان، وأبرزها المبادرات التي تقدمت بها المملكة المغربية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان، من خلال استضافة الرباط فعالية “الإطلاق الرسمي للخطة العربية للتربية والتثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان”في دجنبر 2022، وكذا من خلال إعداد ورقة مفاهيمية حول موضوع “تأثير التغيرات المناخية على حقوق الإنسان في المنطقة العربية”، فضلا عن إدراج بند “دعوة للانخراط في دينامية تنفيذ إعلان مراكش بشأن الآليات الوطنية للتنفيذ وإعداد التقارير والتتبع في مجال حقوق الإنسان”، على جدول أعمال اللجنة.
واعتمد المجلس كذلك القرار المشترك الذي تقدمت به المملكة المغربية ودولة ليبيا ودولة الإمارات العربية تحت عنوان “نبذ كافة أشكال التحريض على الكراهية الدينية والتشديد دوليا على ضرورة منع ازدراء الأديان ودعوة المجتمع الدولي إلى التوازن في تطبيق المواثيق الدولية ذات الصلة”.
