أفادت السلطات المحلية لعمالة المحمدية بأن حريقا اندلع مساء أمس الخميس حوالي الساعة السادسة مساء، بمستودع للغاز بمدينة المحمدية، لم يخلف أية خسائر بشرية.
وفور إشعارها بالحادث، انتقلت السلطات المحلية والأمنية ومصالح الوقاية المدنية إلى عين المكان من أجل اتخاذ التدابير الضرورية، حيث تمكنت فرق التدخل، مدعومة بعناصر تابعة لشركة “مرسى المغرب” وشركة “ليدك”، من السيطرة على الحريق على الساعة الثامنة والنصف مساء، دون تسجيل أية خسائر بشرية.
وبخصوص حصيلة الخسائر المادية، أوضحت السلطات المحلية أنه تم إحصاء اشتعال النيران في 5 شاحنات صهريجية من أصل 7 كانت متواجدة بعين المكان، بحمولة 8 أطنان لكل واحدة منها.
وفي إطار التدابير الاحتياطية، عملت فرق التدخل على تأمين المنطقة المحاذية للمستودع وإخلائها من الساكنة تحسبا لأية أضرار محتملة.
وقد تم فتح بحث من طرف السلطات المعنية، تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، لتحديد ظروف وملابسات هذه الحادثة.
