أجرى الملك محمد السادس، يومه الإثنين 18 أبريل 2022، مكالمة هاتفية مع، الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين، عاهل المملكة الأردنية.
وشكلت هذه المكالمة مناسبة لاطمئنان جلالة الملك، حفظه الله، على صحة العاهل الأردني بعد العملية الجراحية الناجحة التي أجراها مؤخرا.
كما شملت المحادثات بين العاهلين التطورات والأحداث التي تعرفها القدس والمسجد الأقصى في ضوء ما شهده من اقتحامات للأماكن المقدسة واعتداءات على المصلين، وذلك من منطلق رئاسة صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، نصره الله للجنة القدس، وتولي جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين للوصاية الهاشمية على الأماكن المقدسة الإسلامية والمسيحية بالقدس الشريف.
ولقد اعتبر العاهلان أن من شأن هذا التصعيد أن يزيد من مشاعر الحقد والكراهية والتطرف وأن يقضي على فرص إحياء عملية السلام بالمنطقة”.
