أعلن التليفزيون الكاميروني وفاة 6 مشجعين، عقب لقاء منتخبي الكاميرون وجزر القمر، في ثمن نهائي كأس الأمم الإفريقية، التي فاز بها الأسود (2-1) في عقر دارهم.
وتدافعت جماهير الكاميرون لدخول ملعب أوليمبي، الذي استضاف المباراة، من أجل مساندة أصحاب الأرض وتشجيعهم.
وقال التليفزيون الكاميروني: “هناك 6 حالات وفاة بجانب عشرات الجرحى، عند مدخل ملعب (أوليمبي) في العاصمة ياوندي، قبل مباراة جزر القمر”.
وأصدر الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف) بيانا رسميا اليوم الإثنين، أعلن خلاله فتح تحقيق فيما حدث للحصول على مزيد من التفاصيل حول الواقعة.
وأضاف الكاف عبر بيانه: “يوجد اتصالات مستمرة مع الحكومة الكاميرونية واللجنة المنظمة”.
وأتم: “كلف باتريس موتسيبي رئيس الكاف، فيرون موسينجو أومبا الأمين العام، بزيارة المشجعين المصابين في مستشفى ياوندي”.
