اطلع مجلس الحكومة، اليوم الخميس، على اتفاق بشأن تسليم المجرمين بين المملكة المغربية وجمهورية مالاوي، الموقع بالعيون في 16 يوليو 2024 ومشروع القانون رقم 49.24 يوافق بموجبه على الاتفاق المذكور، قدمه الأمين العام للحكومة، محمد حجوي، نيابة عن وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج ناصر بوريطة.
وأوضح الوزير المكلف بالعلاقات مع البرلمان، الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة، مصطفى بايتاس، في لقاء صحفي عقب انعقاد مجلس الحكومة، أن هذا الاتفاق يهدف إلى إقامة تعاون أكثر فعالية بين البلدين في المجال القضائي ومكافحة الجريمة، عبر تسليم المجرمين المطلوبين للعدالة من طرف السلطات القضائية للطرفين.
وأضاف أنه بموجب هذا الاتفاق يسلم الطرفان لبعضهما البعض، بناء على طلب أحدهما، وطبقا لقوانينهما الداخلية، أي شخص مطلوب من طرف الدولة الطالبة، قصد متابعته أو إصدار حكم في حقه أو تنفيذه لحكم من أجل فعل موجب للتسليم.
