أكد وزير الفلاحة والصيد البحري والتنمية القروية والمياه والغابات، أحمد البواري، خلال جلسة الأسئلة الشفوية بمجلس المستشارين، بأنه بسبب توالي سنوات الجفاف وغلاء أسعار الأعلاف، تم تسجيل “تراجع مقلق” في أعداد الماشية على الصعيد الوطني، مشيرا إلى أن الوزارة تتصدى لهذا الوضع من خلال الاشتغال على محورين أساسيين يتمثلان في “ضمان استمرار تزويد الأسواق بصفة عادية”و “إعادة هيكلة القطيع الوطني”.
وأضاف أنه تماشيا مع هذه التوجهات اتخذت الحكومة عدة إجراءات منها تعليق رسوم الاستيراد والضريبة على القيمة المضافة المطبقة على استيراد العجول والأغنام، وكذا منع ذبح إناث الأبقار الموجهة للتوالد من أجل المحافظة على القطيع.
وأكد الوزير أن هذه الاجراءات مكنت من تخفيف الضغط على القطيع الوطني، من أبقار وأغنام وماعز، حيث تم استيراد أكثر من 120 ألف رأس من الأبقار، وحوالي 800 ألف رأس من الأغنام، كما ساهمت (الإجراءات) في الحد من تراجع أعداد القطيع وضمان تزويد السوق الوطنية.
ومن جهة أخرى، أفاد السيد البواري أنه من أجل إعادة هيكلة القطيع الوطني، تواصل الوزارة دعم الأعلاف، كالشعير والأعلاف المركبة لفائدة الماشية للمساهمة في خفض كلفة الإنتاج، كما تعمل على الحفاظ على صحة القطيع من خلال حملات تلقيح وحماية القطيع الوطني من الأمراض، حيث تم في سنة 2024 تلقيح ما يناهز 19 مليون رأس من الأغنام والماعز، و1 مليون و400 ألف رأس من الأبقار، بالإضافة إلى حملات تذكيرية.
وبالإضافة إلى هذه الإجراءات، يضيف الوزير، اتخذت الحكومة قرارا بفتح استيراد اللحوم الطرية والمجمدة عبر تعليق الرسوم الجمركية والضريبة على القيمة المضافة “لضمان تزويد السوق في ظروف جيدة”.
