فتحت المصلحة الولائية للشرطة القضائية بمدينة طنجة بحثا قضائيا تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، وذلك لتحديد ظروف وملابسات محاولة تهريب شحنات من مخدر الكوكايين كانت على متن حاوية للنقل البحري قادمة من ميناء بدولة البرازيل ومتوجهة نحو اليونان.
وذكر مصدر أمني أنه حسب المعلومات الأولية للبحث، فقد توصلت السلطات الأمنية والجمركية بميناء طنجة المتوسط بإشعار من طاقم تقني كان يفحص حاوية قادمة من البرازيل، بعدما اشتبه في حمولتها، وهو ما استدعى القيام بعملية مراقبة دقيقة باستخدام الكلاب المدربة للشرطة، مكنت من حجز 25 كيس يحتوي على مادة بيضاء مشبوهة موصولة بجهاز لتحديد المواقع عبر الأقمار الاصطناعية.
وأضاف المصدر ذاته أن المادة المشبوهة المحجوزة هي عبارة عن مخدر الكوكايين، وأن الشحنة المحجوزة يناهز وزنها 27 كيلوغراما و400 غرام.
