أكد الإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) ، أمس الخميس، تقديم موعد إنطلاق نهائيات كأس العالم 2022 في قطر، يوما واحدا على أن تبدأ المنافسات في العشرين من نونبر المقبل بالمباراة الافتتاحية بين قطر والاكوادور بعد أن كان الافتتاح الرسمي مقررا في 21 منه.
وذكر الاتحاد ، في بيان، أن » قطر الدولة المضيفة ستلعب ضد الاكوادور في 20 نونبر المقبل لتكون المواجهة الوحيدة في اليوم الأول ».
وأضاف أنه « تم تقديم المباراة الافتتاحية وحفل نهائيات كأس العالم على ملعب البيت، يوما واحدا بعد قرار بالاجماع اتخذه مكتب مجلس فيفا ».
وكان يفترض أن تقام المباراة الافتتاحية بين قطر والإكوادور في 21 نونبر ، لكنها لم تكن أولى مباريات ذلك اليوم.
كما تم تغيير موعد مباراة السنغال وهولندا المقررة اصلا في 21 نونبر في الساعة الواحدة بالتوقيت المحلي، إلى الساعة 19.00 في اليوم ذاته.
وأشار الاتحاد إلى أنه « تم اتخاذ هذا القرار عقب تقييم تبعاته على المنافسات والجانب العملي من البطولة، بالإضافة إلى مشاورات معمقة واتفاق مع الجهات المعنية الرئيسية والدولة المستضيفة ».
