تروم الاتفاقية التي وقعها وزير الشباب والثقافة والتواصل محمد المهدي بنسعيد مع رئيس الجامعة الملكية المغربية للألعاب الإلكترونية، هشام لخليفي إلى تعزيز دور الشباب بفضاءات للألعاب الإلكترونية في حدود سنة 2026.
وتسعى الاتفاقية كذلك إلى تنظيم مسابقة e-botola بشراكة مع الجامعبة الملكية لكرة القدم كذلك.
وتأتي توقيع هذه الاتفاقية استجابة لتطور السوق الدولية بحيث أن سوق الألعاب الإلكترونية يبلغ 160 مليار دولار سنويا مما يستلزم انخراط المملكة المغربية في هذا السوق بقوة وكذلك استجابة لمطالب الشباب الملحة على تطوير دور الشباب وخلق فضاءات ترفيهية لهم ولتطوير مهاراتهم بهذا المجال وفتح باب المسابقات الدولية أمامهم،
يشار أنه إلى حدود الساعة تم تجهيز 28 دار شباب بفضاء من هذا النوع ومن المرتقب أن يصل العدد إلى 100 دار شباب خلال السنة الحالية.
