أعلنت إدارة السجن المحلي تولال 2 أن سجينا معتقلا بهذه المؤسسة على خلفية قانون مكافحة التطرف والإرهاب أقدم صباح اليوم السبت على الانتحار شنقا داخل غرفته .
وأوضحت المؤسسة السجنية ،في بلاغ لها ، أن “السجين (ع.ر)، المعتقل بهذه المؤسسة على خلفية قانون مكافحة التطرف والإرهاب والمحكوم عليه بعقوبة الإعدام، قد أقدم صباح يومه السبت على الانتحار شنقا داخل غرفته، وذلك باستعمال قطعة قماش وربطها إلى نافذة الغرفة”.
وأضاف المصدر أن السجين كان “يعاني من اضطرابات عقلية ونفسية، ويتابع علاجه داخل المؤسسة وكذا بالمستشفى الخارجي”.
وسجل المصدر ذاته أنه رغم تدخل طاقم الحراسة والطاقم الطبي التابع للمؤسسة السجنية وتقديم الإسعافات الضرورية للمعني بالأمر، إلا أنه توفي قبل نقله إلى المستشفى الخارجي.
وأشار البلاغ إلى أنه تم إبلاغ النيابة العامة المختصة وعائلة السجين المذكور، وذلك وفقا لما ينص عليه القانون.
