عشية يوم الثلاثاء 23نونبروبقاعة قصر السعادة بالزيتون،تم الإعلان عن تأسيس جمعية،اطلق عليها اسم:جمعية المدينة للرياضة والصحافة وسط حضور مكثف لمجموعة من المنابر الإعلامية المحلية منها:الوطنية بريس،مغربالمواطنة،صدى المغرب وصدى تيفي ، الصحيفة الوطنية للهواة،صوتالعدالة وفايسبريس ومجموعة من المنابر الإعلامية الأخرى.
في البداية تلى الحاج حميد العسلاوي مدير جريدة الوطنية بريس الإكترونية والورقيةٱيات بينات من الذكر الحكيم على مسامع الحضور الكريم.بعدها تم التذكيربالاسباب والدوافع لتشكيل هذا المولود الجديد من طرف اللجنة التحضيرية مع توضيح أهدافومرامي الجمعية،بالإضافة إلى قراءة مسودة القانون الأساسي في جو تسوده المحبة والتقدير بين كل الفاعلين.
وقد عبرجل المتدخلين عن ارتياحهم لهذا الحدث الذي سيكون إضافة نوعية داخل المشهد الاعلامي المحلي الجهوي والوطني،على اعتبار أنه يتكون من خيرة الوجوه الإعلامية بالعاصمة الإسماعلية، بالإضافة إلىبعض المتعاطفينمن أجل تقديم الإضافة المرجوة للجمعية. وفي الختام اعطيت الصلاحية للسيد شيكي عبداللطيف بصفته رئيساً للجمعية من أجل تشكيلالمكتب.
وفي الأخير رفعت أيات الولاء والإخلاص الى السدة العالية بالله جلالة الملك محمد السادس نصره الله وإلى باقي الأسرة العلوية الكريمة.
