أعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية أن مولانا أمير المؤمنين صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، أعزه الله، قد تفضل فأمر بأن تفتح في وجه المصلين في بداية شهر رمضان المعظم، المساجد التي تم تشييدها أو أعيد بناؤها أو تم ترميمها، من طرف وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، أو من طرف المحسنين، وعددها مائة وسبعة وخمسون (157) مسجدا.
وأوضح بلاغ للوزارة أن هذه المساجد موزعة كما يلي :
– خمسة وتسعون (95) مسجدا تم تشييدها؛
– اثنان وأربعون (42) مسجدا أعيد بناؤها؛
– ثمانية (8) مساجد أثرية تم ترميمها؛
– أحد عشر (11) مسجدا تم إصلاحها.
وحسب البلاغ، تبلغ الطاقة الاستيعابية لمجموع هذه المساجد 160.000 مصل ومصلية، وكلفتها الإجمالية 647,3 مليون درهم.
كما أذن أعزه الله، يضيف المصدر ذاته، بفتح مسجد محمد السادس ومرافقه بانجامينا عاصمة جمهورية تشاد.
وتفضل جلالته بإطلاق اسم الجلالة الشريفة على المسجد الكبير بحي السلام بأكادير وتبلغ طاقته الاستيعابية 3600 مصل ومصلية، وكلفته 62,5 مليون درهم.
