انتقل إلى عفو الله، أمس الأحد بمدينة الرباط، الإعلامي الرياضي، نجيب السالمي، عن عمر يناهز 78 سنة بعد معاناة مع المرض، حسب ما علم لدى أسرته.
ويعتبر الراحل، واسمه الحقيقي سعيد حجاج، وهو من مواليد مدينة سيدي قاسم سنة 1948، من رواد الصحافة الرياضية بالمغرب حيث ترك بصمة بارزة في مجال الإعلام الرياضي الوطني.
وخلال مسيرته الإعلامية، تقلد الراحل عدة مناصب منها على الخصوص رئيس القسم الرياضي بجريدة (لوبينيون) لسنوات طويلة، ومنصب رئيس الجمعية المغربية للصحافة الرياضية ما بين 1993 و2009.
وغطى الراحل خلال مساره المهني عددا كبيرا من التظاهرات الرياضية الوطنية والدولية، وواكب تطور كرة القدم المغربية والعديد من التخصصات الرياضية.
و ووراي جثمان الراحل الثرى اليوم الاثنين بمقبرة الشهداء في الرباط.
