أعلن وزير النقل الفرنسي فيليب تابارو أنه تم إلغاء حوالي مائة رحلة جوية، صباح اليوم الأربعاء، في مطار رواسي شارل ديغول و40 رحلة من مطار أورلي في باريس بسبب الثلوج.
وعبر تابارو، في تصريح للصحافة، عن أمله في أن “يعود الوضع إلى طبيعته بعد ظهر اليوم”، داعيا السكان إلى توخي الحذر “في جميع أنحاء البلاد”.
وتتساقط الثلوج شمال وغرب فرنسا، في ظاهرة “نادرة الحدوث في ظل الظروف المناخية الحالية”.
وقالت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية الفرنسية إن 38 من أصل 96 مقاطعة في البر الرئيسي كانت في حالة تأهب لتساقط الثلوج الكثيفة وتكون الجليد، في وقت تراكمت فيه الثلوج على مستوى ثلاثة إلى سبعة سنتيمترات.
وأوضحت أن موجة البرد “شديدة بشكل غير معتاد بالنسبة إلى هذا الموسم”.
وكانت عدة مقاطعات في جنوب فرنسا قد شهدت، قبل أسبوعين، تهاطل أمطار استثنائية تسببت في فيضانات وسيول، وخلفت أضرارا مادية جسيمة.
