دعت الفيدرالية المغربية لناشري الصحف، إلى إحالة مشروع القانون المصادق عليه على المحكمة الدستورية حتى يتبين الخيط الأبيض من الخيط الأسود في احترام هذا القانون للفصل 28 من الدستور.
ووفقا لبلاغ الفيدرالية فإنها تتطلع إلى تدخل كل ذي عقل وغيرة على مصلحة المغرب وصورته الديموقراطية من أجل إنقاذ مستقبل قطاع الصحافة والنشر ببلادنا، وأيضا إنقاذ صورة المملكة ومسارها الديموقراطي التاريخي.
وكان مجلس المستشارين، يوم الأربعاء 24 دجنبر 2025 قد صادق في جلسة عامة قاطعتها المعارضة، على مشروع القانون المتعلق بإعادة تنظيم المجلس الوطني للصحافة.
وقد تلقى المكتب التنفيذي للفيدرالية المغربية لناشري الصحف هذا التصويت بخيبة أمل وخوف على مستقبل المهنة، وسجل أن تتويج مجلس المستشارين لمسار المصادقة على هذا القانون المشؤوم، يمثل اصطفافا للحكومة والأغلبية البرلمانية ضد حرية الصحافة وضد الغالبية العظمى من الجسم المهني والمنظمات الحقوقية والمدنية ومؤسستين دستوريتين للحكامة وخمسة وزراء اتصال سابقين وهيئات مهنية عالمية وضد اتجاه المسار الديموقراطي بالمغرب.
