جددت جمهورية الصومال الفدرالية، اليوم الجمعة، تأكيد دعمها للوحدة الترابية للمغرب ولسيادته على مجموع ترابه، وأشادت باعتماد مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة للقرار 2797.
وخلال لقاء ثنائي بالرباط مع وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، ناصر بوريطة، جدد وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الدولي بجمهورية الصومال الفدرالية، عبد السلام عبدي علي، التأكيد على موقف بلاده الثابت والمؤيد للوحدة الترابية للمغرب ولسيادته على مجموع ترابه.
وسجل عبدي علي، في بيان مشترك تم توقيعه عقب المباحثات بين الوزيرين، بارتياح كبير، اعتماد القرار رقم 2797 لمجلس الأمن، الذي يكرس الحكم الذاتي الذي تقدمت به المملكة، في إطار السيادة المغربية، كأساس لتسوية عادلة ومستدامة من أجل حل نهائي.
وخلال هذه المباحثات، أشاد السيد عبدي علي بالجهود الجدية والواقعية للمملكة المغربية الرامية إلى وضع حد لهذا النزاع الإقليمي المفتعل، معربا عن دعم جمهورية الصومال الكامل لجهود الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ومبعوثه الشخصي إلى الصحراء.
من جانبه، جدد السيد بوريطة الإعراب عن تقدير المغرب لجمهورية الصومال الفدرالية لتصويتها لصالح القرار 2797، الذي اعتمده مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة في 31 أكتوبر 2025.
كما جدد التأكيد لنظيره الصومالي على تشبث المغرب والتزامه من أجل احترام الوحدة الترابية للصومال وسيادتها على كامل ترابها.
