جددت جمهورية سورينام، أمس الاثنين بنيويورك، تأكيد “دعمها لسيادة المملكة المغربية على مجموع ترابها، بما في ذلك الصحراء المغربية”، ولمخطط الحكم الذاتي “كأساس وحيد من أجل حل سياسي للنزاع الإقليمي حول الوحدة الترابية للمغرب وسيادته الوطنية”.
وتم التعبير عن هذا الموقف في بيان مشترك وقعه وزير الشؤون الخارجية والشؤون التجارية الدولية والتعاون بسورينام، ميلفين بوفا، ووزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، ناصر بوريطة، وذلك عقب مباحثات جرت على هامش الدورة الثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة.
وذكر البيان بأن “حكومة جمهورية سورينام فتحت سفارة بالرباط وقنصلية عامة بالداخلة في ماي 2022، بهدف تعزيز التعاون الثنائي”.
وعبر الوزير السورينامي عن “امتنان بلاده العميق” لصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس بفضل رؤية جلالته للتعاون جنوب جنوب التي تقوم على الاحترام المتبادل والفعالية والتضامن والبراغماتية.
كما أبرز أهمية هذه الرؤية الملكية التي تساهم في التنمية المستدامة في منطقة البحر الكاريبي بفضل مشاريع سوسيو-اقتصادية ملموسة.
