توفيت، اليوم الثلاثاء بالقاهرة، الفنانة المصرية سميحة أيوب، الملقبة بـ”سيدة المسرح العربي”، عن عمر 93 عاما بحسب ما ذكرت وسائل اعلام محلية.
وولدت سميحة أيوب في حي شبرا بمدينة القاهرة عام 1932، وتخرجت من المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية عام 1953، وتتملذت فيه على يد الفنان المسرحي زكي طليمات.
وبصمت سميحة أيوب على حضور واسع في المسرح والسينما والتلفزيون، وأثرت اعمالها المشهد الثقافي في مصر والعالم العربي.
وقدمت الفنانة مسيرة فنية حافلة، حيث بلغ رصيدها ما يقرب من 170 مسرحية،كما قدمت أعمالا سينمائية وتليفزيونية تركت بصمة لدى جمهور المشاهدين أبرزها أفلام “أرض النفاق”، و”بين الأطلال”، و”فجر الإسلام”، وفي التلفزيون قدمت أعمالا بارزة في الدراما التليفزيونية منها “الضوء الشارد”، و”أوان الورد”،”و المصراوية”.
