قال باسم إبراهيم، رئيس قطاع الاستثمار الرياضي في وزارة الاستثمار السعودية إن بلاده تتجه لطرح إدارة ملاعب كرة القدم للقطاع الخاص مستهدفة تحويلها إلى مشروع تجاري يتجاوز استضافة مباريات كرة القدم فقط.
وأوضح في تصريحات لصحف محلية، على هامش منتدى الشرق الأوسط للاستثمار الرياضي المقام في لندن، أن استراتيجية المملكة المرتبطة بخوصصة أندية كرة القدم، والتي بدأتها بثماني أندية في مرحلتها الأولى و14 ناديا في المرحلة الثانية، ستتبعها مراحل أخرى حتى تتم خوصصة جميع الأندية السعودية.
وكان ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان قد أطلق مشروع الاستثمار وخوصصة الأندية الرياضية في يونيو 2023، والذي تضمن في مرحلته الأولى تحويل أندية “الهلال” و”النصر” و”الاتحاد” و”الأهلي” إلى شركات، مع نقل 75 في المئة من ملكيتها لصندوق الاستثمارات العامة، كما تم نقل ملكية أندية “القادسية” لشركة “أرامكو”، و”العلا” للهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العلا، و”الدرعية” لهيئة تطوير الدرعية، و”الصقور” لـ”نيوم”، وتم بالفعل تغيير اسم النادي إلى نادي “نيوم”.
واستكمالا لتنفيذ مشروع الاستثمار وخوصصة الأندية الرياضية، كشفت وزارة الرياضة السعودية في غشت 2024 عن 6 أندية تعتزم البدء في طرحها، هي “الزلفي”، و”النهضة”، و”الأخدود”، و”الأنصار”، و”العروبة”، و”الخلود”، متوقعة عوائد تصل إلى نصف مليار ريال (133.33 مليون دولار) من خوصصة هذه الأندية الستة.
وأعلنت السعودية عن تشييد 11 ملعبا جديدا استعدادا لمونديال كأس العالم 2034 الذي تستضيفه البلاد، ليصل إجمالي الملاعب المخصصة للبطولة إلى 15 ملعبا ، موزعة على مدن الرياض وجدة والخبر وأبها ونيوم، بسعة إجمالية تتجاوز 775 ألف مقعد.
وكان إبراهيم قد ذكر في تصريحات صحفية أوائل هذا العام، أن قيمة الاستثمارات بقطاع الرياضة في السعودية اقتربت من مليار دولار منذ بداية العقد، مضيفا أن عام 2024 شهد إتمام حوالي 40 صفقة استثمارية في مجال الرياضة، 25 في المئة منها استثمار أجنبي.
