رغم تسجيل تحويلات قياسية لمغاربة العالم خلال سنة 2024، والتي بلغت 117 مليار درهم، فإن نسبة الاستثمارات المباشرة المخصصة من هذه التحويلات تظل محدودة وهو ما دفع الحكومة إلى اعتماد مجموعة من الإجراءات لتحفيز المغاربة المقيمين بالخارج على الانخراط الفعلي في الاقتصاد الوطني.
وفي هذا السياق، أوضح ناصر بوريطة، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، في جواب كتابي على سؤال برلماني، أن نسبة المبالغ التي خصصها أفراد الجالية للاستثمار في مختلف القطاعات لم تتجاوز 10 في المائة في حين تبقى نسبة الاستثمارات المنتجة متواضعة، حيث لم تتعد 2 في المائة من مجموع التحويلات.
