تمكنت عناصر الشرطة في كل من الناظور ومراكش بتنسيق مع مصالح الوكالة الوطنية للمياه والغابات، أمس الثلاثاء، من حجز مجموعة من الحيوانات البرية والزواحف التي كانت موجهة للبيع بشكل غير مشروع.
وقد باشرت مصالح الأمن الجهوي بالناظور العملية الأمنية الأولى، التي مكنت من توقيف شخصين في حالة تلبس بحيازة أربعة حيوانات برية من فصيلة “النمس”، وعرضها للبيع بشكل غير مشروع.
أما العملية الأمنية الثانية فقد تم تنفيذها بمدينة مراكش، ومكنت من ضبط أحد الأشخاص وبحوزته 61 من الأفاعي في ظروف تهدد سلامة الأشخاص، من بينها 13 أفعى من نوع كوبرا و36 أفعى من نوع كلوفر وفئات أخرى من الزواحف مختلفة الأحجام.
وقد تم تسليم الحيوانات والزواحف المحجوزة للمصالح التابعة للوكالة الوطنية للمياه والغابات، بينما تم فتح أبحاث قضائية مع الأشخاص المشتبه فيهم تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة ترابيا، وذلك للكشف عن جميع ظروف وملابسات ودوافع حيازة هذه الحيوانات وعرضها للبيع بشكل غير مشروع.
وتندرج هذه العمليات الأمنية في سياق انخراط مصالح المديرية العامة للأمن الوطني في تنفيذ عملية Thunder الرامية لمكافحة الاتجار في الحيوانات المحمية، وذلك بتعاون وشراكة مع المنظمة الدولية للشرطة الجنائية-أنتربول.
