أعلنت محكمة التحكيم الرياضي (كاس) أمس الجمعة عن تخفيف عقوبة لاعب الوسط الفرنسي بول بوغبا إلى 18 شهرا بعدما كان أوقف لأربعة أعوام بسبب تناوله هرمون التستوستيرون المحظور في غشت 2023،.
وقال ماتيو ريب، المدير العام لمحكمة التحكيم الرياضي “أؤكد لكم القرار: 18 شهرا من الإيقاف اعتبارا من 11 شتنبر 2023. القرار صدر من دون ذكر الأسباب التي سي علن عنها لاحقا”.
ويرتبط بوغبا بعقد مع يوفنتوس الإيطالي إلى غاية 2026، وسيكون قادرا على العودة إلى الملاعب في 11 مارس المقبل، قبل أربعة أيام على بلوغه عامه الـ32.
وسقط بوغبا الذي غاب عن غالبية موسم 2022-2023 واكتفى بخوض 10 مباريات فقط بسبب الإصابات، في فحص المنشطات الذي خضع له بعد المباراة بين يوفنتوس ومضيفه أودينيزي في الدورة الأولى من الدوري الموسم الماضي. ورغم أنه بقي على مقاعد البدلاء ولم يشارك في اللقاء، كان أحد الذين تم اختيارهم بشكل عشوائي للخضوع للاختبار.
وتم توقيف لاعب الوسط المتو ج بلقب مونديال 2018، عن اللعب احتياطيا منذ 11 شتنبر 2023 من طرف الوكالة الإيطالية لمكافحة المنشطات (نادو).

وتلقى اللاعب عقوبة قاسية بإيقافه أربعة أعوام من بعدها، وهي عقوبة بدت بمثابة نهاية مسيرته الاحترافية.

لكن محكمة التحكيم الرياضي التي استأنف لديها، خففت العقوبة إلى 18 شهرا.
