عين مجلس إدارة الاتحاد الأردني لكرة القدم، الإطار المغربي جمال سلامي، مديرا فنيا جديدا للمنتخب الوطني الأول خلفا للحسين عموتة ، وذلك لقيادة الفريق في الاستحقاقات المقبلة وفي مقدمتها خوض الدور الحاسم لتصفيات كأس العالم 2026 في شتنبر المقبل.
وذكرت وكالة الانباء الأردنية أن الاتحاد سيقدم المدرب الجديد للنشامى رسميا قبل نهاية الشهر الحالي، مشيرة إلى أن الجهاز الفني لسلامي سيضم كلا من مساعدي المدرب عمر نجحي ومصطفى الخلفي ومدرب الحراس أحمد محمدينا ومدربي اللياقة جواد صبري وكريم ملوش ومحللي الأداء كريم الادريسي ومروان لطفي.
وجاء تعيين سلامي خلفا لحسين عموتة الذي أعلن الاتحاد الاردني لكرة القدم مغادرته لمنصبة لأسباب خاصة.
يشار إلى أن سلامي يتمتع بسيرة تدريبية مميزة على مستوى الأندية والمنتخبات، وحقق العديد من الإنجازات أبرزها لقب بطولة أفريقيا للمحليين مع المنتخب الوطني المغربي، ولقب الدوري المغربي مع نادي الرجاء، إضافة الى فوزه بلقب أفضل مدرب في الدوري المغربي ثلاث مرات.
يذكر أن الحسين عموتة قد حقق إنجازات غير مسبوقة في تاريخ المنتخب الأردني تمثلت في قيادته ولأول مرة للمبارة النهائية لكأس آسيا الأخيرة التي احتضنتها قطر مطلع السنة الجارية.
كما أهل منتخب النشامى لكأس آسيا المقبلة وللأدوار الاقصائية الموالية لكأس العالم 2026 بالولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
