كشف وزير النقل واللوجستيك، محمد عبد الجليل، عن خطة استثمارية ضخمة بقيمة 400 مليار درهم للسنوات المقبلة.
ويهدف هذه الغلاف المالي الهائل إلى دفع المغرب نحو عصر من الاتصال والتنقل غير المسبوقين، وتوحيد المدن والمناطق من خلال شبكة سكك حديدية واسعة النطاق وفعالة.
وأوضح الوزير أمام مجلس النواب أن هذا البرنامج الطموح سيتضمن بناء 3800 كيلومتر من خطوط السكك الحديدية التقليدية.
ولن يقتصر هذا التوسع الهائل على ربط 43 مدينة فحسب، بل سيوسع أيضا نطاق خدمة السكك الحديدية إلى 81 في المئة من التراب الوطني، وهي زيادة كبيرة مقارنة بالنسبة الحالية البالغة 51 في المئة.
وتتضمن الخطة أيضا مشاريع استراتيجية لربط الموانئ والمطارات بشبكة السكك الحديدية الوطنية، وتقوية الروابط اللوجستية الحيوية لتعزيز التجارة والتنمية الاقتصادية.
