استقبل المدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني، عبد اللطيف حموشي، زوال اليوم الجمعة، بالرباط، سامي بن عبد الله الصالح، السفير المفوض فوق العادة للمملكة العربية السعودية المعتمد بالمغرب.
وذكر مصدر أمني أن هذا اللقاء جرى في سياق زيارة عمل وتعاون قام بها سفير المملكة العربية السعودية بالرباط إلى مكتب المدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني، للتباحث بشأن مختلف القضايا الأمنية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وأضاف المصدر ذاته، أن الطرفين استعرضا، في بداية اللقاء، مستويات وأشكال التعاون المتميز بين المملكة المغربية والمملكة العربية السعودية في المجال الأمني، وتباحثا كذلك بشأن آليات الارتقاء بهذا التعاون، وتوسيع نطاقه، ليكون في مستوى العلاقات المتميزة بين البلدين الشقيقين.
كما ناقش الجانبان الوضع الأمني على المستوى الدولي والإقليمي، واستعرضا المخاطر والتهديدات والتداعيات الناشئة عن العديد من الأزمات المستجدة في المحيط الدولي والجهوي للبلدين.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن الجانبين أكدا، في ختام اللقاء، على الرغبة الراسخة للبلدين الشقيقين في تعزيز تعاونهما الأمني، وتبادل الخبرات والتجارب في المجال الشرطي، بشكل يسمح بتدعيم أمنهما المشترك.
