شدد مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، اليوم الاحد، على أهمية ضبط النفس سعيا للحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والعالمي، وذلك في ضوء التطورات الأخيرة والمتسارعة في الشرق الأوسط.
ودعا الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، جاسم محمد البديوي، في بيان، جميع الأطراف إلى التحلي بأقصى درجات ضبط النفس لمنع أي تصعيد إضافي يهدد استقرار المنطقة وسلامة شعوبها، مؤكدا ضرورة بذل كافة الأطراف جهودا مشتركة واتخاذ نهج الدبلوماسية كسبيل فعال لتسوية النزاعات وضمان أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
وشدد على دور المجتمع الدولي في دعم جهود السلام والاستقرار لتفادي أية تداعيات قد تؤدي إلى المزيد من التصعيد، وحث كافة الأطراف المعنية على الالتزام بالحفاظ على الأمن والسلام الإقليمي والعالمي.
وفي وقت سابق ليلة السبت/الأحد أكد المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي أن إيران أطلقت طائرات مسيرة من أراضيها نحو إسرائيل.
وأضاف المتحدث في بيان على حسابه الرسمي على منصة “إكس”، أن الجيش الاسرائيلي “يبقى في حالة تأهب ويبلور صورة الوضع طيلة الوقت”، مشيرا الى أن “نظام الدفاع الجوي في حالة تأهب قصوى إلى جانب طائرات سلاح الجو وسفن سلاح البحرية لمواصلة مهمة حماية سماء البلاد”.
