أعطت الوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية، الأربعاء، انطلاقة العمل بالرادارات المثبتة والمتنقلة على متن المركبات بجهة فاس – مكناس.
وخلال اجتماع للجنة الجهوية للمراقبة الطرقية، انعقد بفاس، قدمت الوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية أول رادار متنقل ومثبت لها على على متن المركبات ، سيتم استعماله من أجل تعزيز مراقبة السرعة بالوسطين الحضري والقروي على حد سواء.
وبحسب مسؤولي الوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية، تندرج هذه العملية في إطار تنزيل المخطط الجهوي للسلامة الطرقية من قبل السلطات المحلية، بهدف التصدي الفعال لآفة السرعة المفرطة التي تعتبر السبب الرئيسي لحوادث السير المميتة بالجهة.
وبعد اجتماع خصص لتقديم الرادار الجديد، انتقل أعضاء اللجنة إلى شارع العلويين بفاس لمتابعة عرض ميداني لهذه الآلية الجديدة التي ترتكز على أحدث التكنولوجيات المعمول بها.
وخلال هذا اللقاء، أكد أحمد أيماز المدير الجهوي للوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية بجهة فاس – مكناس أنه سيتم الشروع الفعلي في الاعتماد على هذا الرادار انطلاقا من يوم الإثنين 4 مارس بمختلف عمالات وأقاليم جهة فاس – مكناس.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن انطلاقة العمل بهذا الجهاز تأتي في إطار عملية ضخمة لاقتناء 15 رادار مثبت على المستوى الوطني على متن مركبات تابعة للوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية، ستمكن من تعزيز المراقبة الطرقية.
