صبيحة يوم الاثنين 13/11/2023 وبملعب كيلورا يونغ تومو بمدينة سورابايا الأندونيسية ،انهزم الفريق الوطني المغربي للناشئين أمام نظيره المنتخب الاكوادوري بحصة هدفين دون رد.
بداية المقابلة عرفت اندفاع العناصر الوطنية نحو مرمى الحارس الاكوادوري ، في المقابل اعتمدت عناصر المنتخب الاكوادوري على الحملات المضادة من أجل مباغتة الحارس المغربي. ورغم عدة محاولات لكلا الطرفين انتهت 45 دقيقة الأولى بالتعادل السلبي صفر لمثله.
خلال الشوط الثاني تمكن المنتخب الاكوادوري من فرض أسلوب لعبه ساعده في ذلك تراجع العناصر الوطنية إلى الوراء . وفي حدود الدقيقة 66 سيتمكن المنتخب الاكوادوري من تسجيل الهدف الاول عن طريق ضربة جزاء.. بعدها تحركت الآلة الهجومية لاشبال أسود الأطلس من خلال تحركات اللاعب المتألق الحموني ، لكن واثر حملة مضادة سيتمكن المنتخب الاكوادوري من إضافة الهدف الثاني في الوقت الاضافي بدل الضائع. بعدها سيعلن الحكم المكسيكي عن نهاية المقابلة بتفوق المنتخب الاكوادوري.
تجدر الإشارة على أن المنتخب المغربي سيواجه منتخب إندونيسيا البلد المنظم لهاته الدورة في آخر مباراة عن دوري المجموعات لبطولة كأس العالم لأقل من 17 سنة.
