أطلق موظف للشرطة، برتبة عميد شرطة، بمدينة بركان على نفسه رصاصة من سلاحه الوظيفي في ظروف ولأسباب مجهولة.
وكانت مصالح الأمن الوطني بمدينة بركان، مدعومة بتقنيي مسرح الجريمة، قد باشرت إجراءات البحث في واقعة إطلاق الموظف المذكور لرصاصة على نفسه من سلاحه الوظيفي داخل مكتبه، مما تسبب في إصابته بنزيف خطير نقل على إثره للمستشفى.
ويتواصل حاليا إجراءات البحث القضائي تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، للكشف عن أسباب وظروف وخلفيات هذا الحادث، في وقت تم فيه إيداع الشرطي المصاب بقسم العناية المركزة بعد دخوله في حالة غيبوبة
