أعيد انتخاب المغربية بشرى حجيج، بالإجماع، رئيسة للكونفدرالية الافريقية للكرة الطائرة لولاية ثانية، وذلك خلال أشغال اليوم الأول من مؤتمر الكونفدرالية المنظم بالدار البيضاء (28 -29 نونبر) .
وتم تجديد الثقة في السيدة حجيج، رئيسة الجامعة الملكية للكرة الطائرة، لقيادة الكونفدرالية الافريقية للكرة الطائرة لولاية ثانية (2024- 2028) بعد تصويت الأعضاء 54 للكونفدرالية .
وعرفت أشغال المؤتمر اعتماد القانون الأساسي الجديد للكونفدرالية الإفريقية .
كما تم خلال المؤتمر تقديم عرض حول أنشطة الرئيسة والمكتب التنفيذي، لاسيما في ما يتعلق بالحكامة الجيدة، تنظيم الأحداث الرياضية،تأهيل البنيات التحتية ، والتكوين .
وعرف مؤتمر الكونفدرالية الإفريقية للكرة الطائرة، حضور رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للكرة الطائرة اري غارسا، الذي نوه بالمجهودات المبذولة لتطوير ممارسة هذا النوع الرياضي في إفريقيا منذ انتخاب السيدة بشرى حجيج رئيسة للكونفدرالية الإفريقية سنة 2020.
